Crisis Text Line provides free, 24/7 support for people in any type of crisis (suicidal ideation, anxiety, substance abuse, or other crises). To reach a trained Crisis Counselor, anyone can simply text LA to 741741. Crisis Counselors are volunteers who complete online crisis intervention training.

- 34 hour training: learn effective contact techniques, suicide risk assessment, and collaborative problem solving
- Opportunity for letters of recommendation and certificates of 200 hours of completion from supervisors
